Trauma-informed emotional recovery & relational pattern work for women navigating relational trauma, emotional overwhelm, identity loss and nervous system exhaustion.

Her Serenity was created for women who are functioning on the outside while silently carrying emotional exhaustion, relational trauma, abuse, burnout, motherhood overwhelm or prolonged survival mode internally.

This work is designed to help women understand and shift the emotional and relational patterns keeping them stuck through a structured, trauma-informed approach grounded in nervous system regulation, emotional pattern work and self-leadership.

The Mission

Her Serenity was built from the belief that women deserve more than survival mode.

After narcissistic abuse, domestic abuse, divorce, burnout, relational trauma or years of carrying emotional responsibility for everyone else, many women lose connection with themselves entirely.

Our Work focuses on helping women rebuild:

  • Emotional stability

  • Identity, Self-Trust and Confidence

  • Nervous system safety

  • understand emotional and relational patterns

  • move from survival-based responses into grounded self-leadership

Through trauma-informed coaching and emotional pattern work, we support women in understanding the internal responses and relational dynamics that continue to shape their emotional world long after the experience itself has ended.

This is not surface-level coaching or emotional reassurance. It is structured, trauma-informed work designed to support meaningful internal change.

Our approach is grounded in trauma-informed principles, nervous system regulation and Parts-based work informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS).

We work with:

- attachment dynamics and trauma responses

- nervous system dysregulation and overwhelm

- identity disruption after relational trauma

- subconscious beliefs shaped through survival experiences

This work bridges lived experience with structured emotional recovery support.

The focus is not simply on coping better but on understanding and shifting the deeper patterns shaping emotional responses, relationships and self-perception.

Alongside private coaching, Her Serenity also works in partnership with schools and organisations through trauma-informed wellbeing initiatives designed to support emotional safety, awareness and healthier relational environments for families, parents and professionals.

I’m Anita, trauma-informed practitioner, emotional recovery coach and founder of Her Serenity. My work supports women navigating the emotional impact of:

- domestic abuse

- coercive control

- narcissistic relationships

- divorce, separation and heartbreak

- postpartum and motherhood overwhelm

- burnout and nervous system overwhelm

- identity loss and emotional exhaustion

I understand this work both professionally and personally.

Like many women I support, I know what it feels like to continue functioning externally while internally feeling emotionally exhausted, disconnected from yourself and stuck in survival mode based patterns.

Through both lived experience and professional practice, I came to understand that healing is not simply about moving on.

One of the most important things I’ve learned through both professional practice and personal healing is this:

You cannot think your way out of trauma responses, chronic anxiety or emotional overwhelm. The body, nervous system and emotional patterns must also be understood and supported.

That understanding became the foundation of The Her Serenity Method™

My work is grounded in The Her Serenity Method™ a structured trauma-informed framework focused on nervous system regulation, emotional pattern work and identity rebuilding.

Using Parts-based approaches informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS), we explore the emotional strategies and survival responses developed through trauma and relational experiences with compassion rather than shame.

The goal is not simply behaviour change, but deeper internal reorganisation that supports lasting emotional stability and self-leadership.

Alongside private practice, I bring over 15 years of experience within education, leadership and wellbeing-focused work, combining professional expertise with lived understanding of the emotional realities many women navigate daily.

I am also the author of HER Serenity, A Guided Journal for women healing after abuse, a reflective healing journal designed to support women in rebuilding identity, self-worth and emotional clarity after relational trauma.

Designed as a guided companion for reflection, emotional processing and personal rebuilding between healing work and everyday life.
